The Competition is run by EAF officials so ran very quickly and correctly due to our scoring team so with that and the level of wrestling being of the highest standard our referees had to work very hard! So where they Good? They were not just good they were EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD they worked in a very fair and professional way enforcing the rules yet with care and consideration for the wrestlers.

Well done to all of you.

With so many good referees it was difficult to nominate the best but after carful consideration we awarded VENERA URAZGILDEEVA from Russia as the best referee for 2011 for an outstanding performance at her first European Championships as a referee.

We would also like to congratulate Piotr Szczerba on becoming a member of the EAF referees panel well done.

Following a complaint sent by the Turkish Federation of Body Building and Fitness concerning the decision of the European Federation of armwrestling sports ,

The world armwrestling federation has consulted the various protagonists of this unfortunate affair.
It appears that a contract had been signed by both parties informing players of their rights and duties
Turkish Federation of Body Building and Fitness many who have not complied with its commitments; the European Federation has the ultimate response to the European Championships taking place at best for the different federations involved.
After the European Championships, the executive committee of the EAF has taken the following decision:

 "- The form of the Turkish Federation President, Mr. Ahmet Hadimoglu and the members of the Board of the Turkish Federation - Kursat Kucukler and Ali Emre Bek, are Expelled from our sport, with no right to take whatever managing positions in the Turkish gold Armwrestling in the international federations. In addition, They Are restricted from whatever official Carrying out Activities in the field of our sport for good.
- The transitory President of the Turkish Federation, Mr. Turkmen Tezer IS punished with suspension for a Period of one year from holding official positions and whatever from whatever official Carrying out Activities in the field of our sport.
- Turkish Federation penalized with a fine IS of EUR 30,000 (thirty thousand EUR), Which Must Be paind by 06/05/2011.
- Failing to comply with the above penalties, more severe ones will follow. "

The World Federation has decided to accept the decision of the European Federation
for the Turkish federation of bodybuilding and fitness.

Turkish Federation Penality

Because of the huge organizational problems (the worst organization ever) with the 21st European Armwrestling Championship, held in Kemer, Antalia (Turkey) 08-14 May 2011, due to non-fulfillment of the contract between EAF and TVGFF and failing to broadcast live the finals in more than 15 European countries, by a decision of the Executive Board of EAF taken with consensus the following penalty has been imposed onto the Turkish federation:

- the former President of the Turkish Federation, Mr. Ahmet Hadimoglu and the members of the Board of the Turkish Federation - Kursat Kucukler and Ali Emre Bek, are expelled from our sport, with no right to take whatever managing positions inthe Turkish or in the international Armwrestling federations. In addition, they are restricted from carrying out whatever official activities in the field of our sport for good.

- the transitory President of the Turkish Federation, Mr. Tezer Turkmen is punished with suspension for a period of one year from holding whatever official positions and from carrying out whatever official activities in the field of our sport.

- Turkish Federation is penalized with a fine of EUR 30.000 (thirty thousand EUR), which must be paind by 5.06.2011.

- Failing to comply with the above penalities, more severe ones will follow.
